These politicians are headliners, they are always on top in their various positions and they have one thing in common: they always get our attention.

1. Dino Melaye
Dino Melaye is a former Kogi state House of Assembly member, and now the Senator in charge of for Kogi west. His tremendous personal wealth has raised the brows of so many Nigerians.
He is known for displaying his wealth on all his social media platforms which in turn provokes Nigerians to always rain abuses on him. Then there was this Twitter fight between him and his ex-pals, SaharaReporters.
2. Adams Oshiomole
Adams Oshiomole’s wedding to his second wife Iara Fortez caused a huge controversy in the country. So many Nigerians felt his wife was only getting married to him because of the money and not the love.
Also he has been making allegations against some politicians (most recently Okonjo-Iweala and Lucky Igbinedion)over money laundering/theft.
3. Ben Bruce
Since Ben Murray Bruce became a senator his name has since been on the news headlines either for his thought provoking tweets or speeches.
He has been speaking against the elites in the country spending recklessly and not helping the masses. He made a vow to represent the interest of the masses in the Senate.
4. Rochas Okorocha:
Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha started having serious controversies after he built a N1 Billion Presidential mansion in his hometown in Ogboko, Ideato South Local Government of Imo State.
Recently controversies arose after Rochas Okorocha accompanied the President for his four day visit to America. After they got back pictures of Okorocha shaking President Obama was seen as a billboard in Owerri.
5. Nyesom Wike
The Governor of Rivers state has been in the news before, during and after the elections. Reports before the election stated that Wike would win the elections because of his close relationship with the wife of the ex-president Dame Patience Jonathan.
During the elections he made tongues wag when he was seen in the INEC office. There was chaos and protest in the state due to that act.
After the elections he has since been having issues with the ex-governor of the state Rotimi Amaechi on the credibility of the elections conducted in Rivers state.
6. Rotimi Amaechi
Controversies started when the ex-governor of Rivers state Rotimi Amaechi raised an alarm that the elections held in the state was rigged by the wife of the ex president and the new Governor Nyesom Wike.
His name on news headlines doubled as he was one of the most controversial person on the ministerial list.
7. Ayo Fayose
The Governor of Ekiti state Ayo Fayose is always in the news due to his many controversial statements that has provoked anger in Nigerians.
He made so many statements against the President’s credibility before the elections. Controversies also arose when there was a plot to impeach him as the Governor of Ekiti state.
8. Femi Fani Kayode
Femi Fani Kayode has made plenty controversial statements that has made him quite famous. Not just that the news of him dating a beauty queen named Precious Chikwendu also caused controversies. He has not spared words in his open criticisms of Buhari and the present administration.
9. Goodluck Jonathan
Since he peacefully handed over as the President of Nigeria, there has been no end to the talks on Goodluck Jonathan. These talks are not likely to be coming to an end any soon especially with the on-going probe of his administration by the Buhari-led government.
10. Bola Ahmed Tinubu
His name was very prominent during the last elections. The former Governor of Lagos and APC chieftain is always in the news whenever Fashola, APC, Ambode and often times, Buhari is mentioned.
11. Diezani Allison-Madueke
When the news of her arrest broke out, the Nigerian media could not stop buzzing. Little did we know that it was soon to buzz even more when photos of the former Minister of Petroleum battling with cancer were published by Dele Momodu.
12. President Mohammed Buhari
Being the President, it is almost impossible to not be controversial. From the election period till date, there have been and still are talks if Sai Baba can live up to his promise of change in Nigeria.
