Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho was at his best as Manchester City defeated AS Roma in a pre-season friendly match which ended moments ago.

Iheanacho’s articulate pass in the 3rd minute to Raheem Sterling who recently joined the club on a £49m deal, led to City’s first goal with the former Liverpool player registering his 1st goal for the English club.

Roma equalized 5 minutes later but the superb Iheanacho made it 2-1 in the 50th minute before their Italian opponents equalised again in the 86th minute through a Ljajic strike which pushed the game into penalty shoot-out.

Manchester City won the game 5-4 on penalties.
